To Pee Alone

Me: I need to go to the bathroom.
Noah: Can Luke stay in here with me?
Me: Sure. That would be great (as I walk away wondering if this was actually going to happen)!
Noah: Luke do you want to stay with me?
Luke: umuunum

A few seconds pass and I hear 4 hands banging on the door.
Noah: Can we come in here with you? I wanna hear your voice.
Me: Awww (as my heart warms inside and all thoughts of hoping to pee alone diminish.)

Balls and Sunglasses

Noooo!!! As Noah runs to save his precious balls from Luke. Noah's perfectionist side comes out playing with most toys...here he is adamant about only blue balls be inside the swimming pool. I can only imagine what Luke is thinking as Noah's balls are unguarded!

Look Alikes

Praying that Luke doesn't just look like his Daddy but loves and serves the Lord as his Daddy does!

Leaving a legacy!!!

Noah's 1st Ride

Noah received a tricycle, helmet, and bell for Christmas and this is the first time we got it out. He thought his helmet and bell were pretty neat but wasn't too into the bike. Daddy had to get the seat at the right height and Noah was kinda over it by the time we got it adjusted for him. He loves his other two 'vehicles' and wasn't too fond of learning something new. I think he will eventually love it as he grows out of the others (which he really has but doesn't want to give them up). He didn't quite get the way it worked either...how you push down on the peddle with one foot and then the other. We will have to get it out again soon and work with him. He looked pretty cute learning though!

My Climbers

Both my boys were climbing even before they walked and Noah walked at 10 1/2 months and Luke walked at 10 months...I mean really walking...not just fallen cause their heads weight too much. Needless to say, they are active and don't waist any time! Noah continues to bring worry to my mind as he climbs so high (Left: notice the height of the play set in the back ground...John even had trouble reaching his hands up to catch him if he fell)...

And Noah continues to climb on anything he can. Luke has followed suit! But he seems to be even more active, strong willed, and determined to further his 'skills' and reach higher goals. I am having to change the way furniture is arranged to try to avoid some of the falls. He climbs up to knock DVD's off, onto the entertainment center, up on the boys table, up on our tall kitchen chairs, into Noah's bed, and can pull himself up by his arms to peek at what I am cooking on the stove...dangerous, I know! The first many times I liked watching this impressive feat of strength but now he opens the oven and falls flat on his head. No good. I need to get a lock but hear those don't work the best. Ahhh!

It is fun to watch them at the park with the confidence of an elementary aged kid. I guess I am paying for my raising cause I know my sisters and I climbed on top of the huge metal swing sets and nearly give my parents a heart attack. I will no longer go to the park with both boys unless John or another adult is there. Each child needs one adult 'net' in case of a fall. At times, they do fall and get bruises but life goes on and they learn to balance even better. I guess you just have to let your kids learn some things on their own. It is good for them to stretch the limits and let boys be boys...and mine sure are!!!

1st Bubble Bath

Luke really enjoyed his first bubble bath. He wasn't sure what was wrong with his water at first but then discovered the fun he could have. Sweet boy!

Wrestling at the Woogies

Noah is starting to get a bit strong for me. I may have to let this be a only guy thing soon! Daddy can handle it! Love them so!!!
